Legal Unit	Rendering legal Advise on matters refers to the unit by the Executive Director.	Monitoring the compliance of companies awarded contract to ensure that the terms of agreements are followed.
	Drafting, vetting & finalizing all commission’s contract agreement	Part of team to monitor and access compliance to Terms and Conditions of Water Use Licence
	Acting as secretary to the Commission	being part of organizing sensitization work on the understanding of the Water Resources Bill 2020
	Release of water use licence and keep records of same.	Make representation  of the Commission and its official court when sue in their official capacity
	Advising the commission on all aspect of law related issues.	Analyzing prospective applicant for water use to know the legal status of the company for advice.
	Liaising with department on draft bill/regulations concerning the commission.	Performing ad-hoc duties as may be assigned to it by the ED.
